Peter's pictures

Finally getting finished!

The living room with Elsa's paint color.
The bathroom walls are subway tiles.
This is the view from the kitchen window. The window sill that Tomas made is great!
The kitchen stove is in after two installations.
My room needs shelves, a desk and a day bed.
Joel's office has his antique desk...
...and quite glorious sun! This is a photo Fritzi took from outside the building.

The plate rack came

The plate rack had to be opened up in the back so the tiles would shine through.
the shelves are up in the linen closet.
Joel's room has "nantucket grey"

The medicine cabinet I bought looks like this one from Pottery Barn, but was one third the price.

Coming down the home stretch

Martin paints "semolina" in my workroom. The backsplash tiles are smaller versions of the floor.
The living room has Elsa's kahlua color. The granite pass-through was a great idea.
The refrig and the dish rack are the things that are missing. The toilet is in and the bathroom painted. a bit orange for me.
Joel's closet doors are hung. they will be stained. The hall has the wainscotting... need to decide how dark to make the stain.

progress

It was too complicated to take out the partition wall, as the co-op board was scared we would effect the building supports, so we just cut a window hole which we actually like better!

We went for the classic white subway upper west side bathroom look.

Thinking Paint

Joel's work room

This is for my work room-- mostly south west colors-- thinking of New Mexico!
the living room-- maybe better if it had more blue.
