Thinking Paint

Joel's work room

This is for my work room-- mostly south west colors-- thinking of New Mexico!
the living room-- maybe better if it had more blue.

The Guys!

Here are Martin, Tomas, Manuel and Edgar, who are doing an amazing job with the apartment!
This is Manuel fixing the window in the kitchen.Joel with the door for the closet in my work room. We want to have a door above also. I will try to match the bottom door.

So we are trying to decide whether to get the single Ikea sink or the double. The double takes up a lot of room in a small kitchen.

smaller tub

I saw these tubs at a local junk store.
The size of the smaller one is 25 by 53.5 inches. That would give us another 6 inches. I don't know if it makes a difference or even if it is possible to use it.

There was a bathroom sink also:

The Brick Wall

under the plaster on the east side of the kitchen there are bricks, but they are covered in cement and crud. This is not the wall we want to remove. This is a structural wall, but we thought to go down to the bricks behind where we want to put the stove.
This is how the kitchen wall looks. Hopefully it can be cleaned up and sealed.

Partition Wall

This is the wall that we want to take out. It is not a weight bearing wall and will open up the kitchen. On the layout below I have already erased it from the picture.

faucet

this is a faucet which i saw today and liked alot.

starting from scratch

the bathroom door can stay-- but we wil try to take some of the paint layers off.
taking off the vinyl and linoleum floor to the oak underneath.
taking out the crumbling plaster in the bathroom and kitchen.framing the closet in Joel's work room.

doors

these were the two doors i bought.
the dark one for the front room, the smaller one for the closet in the bedroom.
